Love the idea and the execution. Disappointed that you misspelled "lose."

This would've been translated from the original french. That's a bad typo though.

Typo aside this is a really nice idea.

Good idea.

Again, the typo isn't in the ad. And we Quebecers don't consider ourselves "Americans," we're actually "Canadians." Learn some geography.

FYI, the ad more literally translates to "you have a lot to lose"

I like the idea. Compelling and simple.

Pretty sure I'm missing something... Why the surrealism? Why the snow-poker?

i'm with you on that. i get the betting on families part... but why this snow stuff? confuses things for me.

This is actually a simple idea tastefully executed. They could've placed the family on an actual gambling table but that would be too literal and forced. The snow makes it subtler; you're losing not just your family, you're losing the experience of having one.

They should have used two cards since it's the largest played card game and probably the most addicting, and why are the cards flipped upside down? For a better execution they should have left the cards flipped over.

I don't know if there is any mistake in french, but the ad itself is quite good.

The ad ran in French - not English. The spelling error in the English translation is hardly relevant.

I like the idea. Execution is a little rough though.

It's relevant because they first posted it to this site in English, not French. We were commenting on the version we were given.

Other is better, as there is not only family, but car too, which is another sensitive issue - for some it's more important than children...
