Pablo Picasso
Takes "bad" to to another level...even beyond "worst".
Quite really.
I'd use that area to put stuff....like a spare house key or something
isnt it too literal?
nah nah the ad is perfect...as they say they have taken out something out of him, which even they are not sure of.....
You people don't get it! By not having an education there's a missing piece to the puzzle of your life, your future... your career! Geez, I'm afraid to know what they are really teaching in design classes anymore. JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN RUN A PROGRAM DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN DESIGN... BEFORE YOU COMMENT GO BACK TO THE BASICS... Who are you catering to? Does it carry the message in the ad? What is your target audience? Is it clean and concise? YES TO ALL THE ABOVE!
please be sarcastic...
Quite really.
I think that this is an ok ad. As you say, it carries the message clearly.
The only problem is the missing piece. It looks really, really artificial. The perspective is off a bit and the shading is too shallow. That is purely an art directional issue. The concept itself is sound.
Relax. Smoke some green my man, and let this bullshit industry go fuck itself.

Doin' it for the points
execution is lacking. the white collar implies this guy has an education and a good job. repetitive copy is annoying also. but nice retouching!
Ho hum. Terrible art direction.
The dude looks like he's about 30!
Takes the brain away.....???????? WTF Execution of a bad copy and even worst
nice eyes.........;)

Less than a student work.
If I was going to be sarcastic I would have said that everyone comprehends that my not having or continung your education...WE as a society lose out by missing a part of what would have been added to the whole if their education had been continued. But the relevancy is lost in todays world of, "Impress me with the beveling of the type and ooh way cool usage of the photoshop filters, dude!"
I feel your righteous fire burning brother, and I agree with you. But as you'll find out, this is not the place to look for appreciation of a worthy piece of advertising. Here, it's all about getting a lion or some other bollox award.
Stay low, move fast.
Doin' it for the points
First I thought was that this square is their logo... but it's not. So... what's the point about this terrible art direction?
>>> Designed to be signed...
reaaly crap campaign.. assuming the guy does decide to continue and go back to school? does it mean the gap in his head will refill itself or is that a permanent hole in his head for the rest of his life even if he goes back to school?
Strike two stones with one bird
The art direction needs art direction.
we dun need no education !
the 3D (?) execution of the hole is amazingly fake.
the message is really poor.
you see the ad and you think "so what?"
blockheads!
