Somehow I doubt you could kill a hippo with a handgun. At least not before it killed you for trying.

Elephant, hippo, rhino, whatever... A handgun would still be next to useless. ;)

Why is everyone so hung up on the fact that a handgun couldn't kill an elephant? The message here is not that a handgun could take down an elephant; that would be ridiculous. It's that we're killing our wildlife at an alarming rate. And that point comes across quite nicely I think. Great visuals.

Terrible line though.
