Normally, the Porsche ads have some damn great lines, but I totally have to pass on this one. Lost in translation?!

I'm sorry, but a manufacturer's stock illustration with a headline (God can still see you.) slapped on it shouldn't qualify as an "Ad of the World".

it's "convertible" in English (I didn't know it's cabrio in spanish, too. seems like english is the only strange language using a different term... but I didn't want to speak about this actually)
I understood the headline at first glance, but what I didn't understand me is why should I care? or to articulate myself better, what has that to do with the brand identity/image of Porsche or it's target audience.
also, it's prone to being laught at. "God can see you better" could be understood as "He'll take you sooner" or "you shouldn't have much fun in it". don't think this is a message the porsche buyers want to hear.

agree with andrej, the idea of god seeing me better doesn't make me want to run and buy this car, quite the opposite.
by the way, "convertible" works in spanish perfectly too (cabrio is the name of the vw gti convertible)
Definetly not a real ad. Geschke is NOT the leading agency in germany. And the headline is poor and boring.
