so.. the elephant is stuck onto a glass ceiling afraid of the mice..? took too much attention to detail to work that out, also a bit too surreal in my opinion. Consumers are unlikely to spend that amount of time working an ad out.

maybe same idea but another execution would have made this work.

This just won at cannes.

Don't care if it won at cannes - the REALITY is that it wouldn't work in the real world under this execution neither in print nor outdoor. I didn't even notice the small strips on the feet until i noticed the brand, and it took a while to work out what resembled sperm to be mice.

If all creatives are doing is looking to win awards then advertising rev is just gonna keep slumping. Clients feel the ad industry has lost touch with its consumers, If the ad doesn't communicate then what's the point.

Like I said the IDEA is great, the art direction (not the graphics) is poor.

although the work is good and the details were covered nicely and i must admit there are few lapses and loopholes as well. What happens if the elephant poops since the pooping area is exposed. Wouldn't it carry a negative message?

Don't follow the herd - be yourself!

Theres some really uptight people here, theres no need to create a whole story behind these visuals, Whats so difficult to understand ?, he´s taped to the cieling safeley, thats it....Some people really need a vacation or theyll just end up fuc*ing the whole advertising world for everybody.

I like it - maybe it's not totally simple to understand.

these are great - if the mice are too small, maybe a massive outdoor poster would do the trick. there are so, so great my sides hurt.
