Forced + Weird photoshop job = this ad.
forced critique!
OK, since you think it's forced I'll actually go into it.
Not a terrible job of art directing, but it looks like it was all stock images pasted together. It looks kind of awkward.
The copy is really forced - 'Let's play!' is not doing it for me. I know you guys can do better because you go to an Ad School, you're better than that.
The concept is kind of bland. Your target is way to old to play with these things (unless they're drunk). Playstation has always gone with something trippy for their tv advertising and that fits with the target.
You can do better, don't just stop because you're in school. Push the idea and get a great book instead of leaving it like this.
Wait, don't take my advice if this fits the brief (for some reason)
good
good
this is cool, sony has historically had some bright shiny ads that don't show the product, and this would fit in with some refinement.
for a student work - at least it has an idea.
the art of play.
yeahhh.. good ad
nice ad.
Good one.
Never been a fan of Playstations advertising. Has always felt like a bunch of pretentious wank. This is much the same, although they've toned down the arty-ness and turned the boring dial up to 11, lame.
Doin' it for the points
yeah but it's a student idea.
I totally missed that sorry. For student work it's ok.
Doin' it for the points
It's Ahight.
very weird concept
why? well there's a paradox in this idea using outdoor games versus PS3 which is basically an indoor game station so is PS3 replacing outdoor games for kids??????
parents will not agree that PS3 will replace the outdoor games so to whom are we talking to in this ad.. kids????
The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time
This is not a Nintendo Wii ad. Remember that the PS3's main target is not kids :) The idea is pretty good to be a student's. The art direction could be better, but I'll leave those comments to the Art Directors.

Forced idea..
agreed
para mi esta buena!!
Para mi. Estás mal.
Why Yellow?????????
PS3 is actually amazing. This ad tells me it's kinda lame stuff for kids. Therefore this ad feels totally wrong for me.
Goog!
so cool
good~ So cool
:::J:::
it works. good job. better than most real playstation ad i would say.
i only gave 5 cuz it's bad idea for student to do this client.
People like playstation ads because they are bizarre and doesn't make human sense. (most..eg. baby weeping, blowup doll, plugs, etc)
that means it's easy (just put anything creepy from your last nightmare, and it'll work).
I don't like ads that are favored jus because they are strange and visually beautiful.
try other more challenging clients and win awards!! (PS ads never won any award except controversies, as far as i remembered)

Eat your hearts out, haters. This is an awesome ad, with a beautiful art direction.
I don't get those hating on this. For student's work it's not bad. Clear, on brand (in my opinion). The shapes are pretty much *always* forced in Playstation ads (for those who love dropping the F word).
cool student idea.
just great~
just great
All has been said, and this is a students work so just give it a break. They can still improve.
que sera sera
Student work should be better than this. They don't get a brief most of the time, they can choose their own products and they have no one hounding them. There is absolutely no insight on this (or a concept).
It looks like the creative team went:
hey, what's cool about playstation?
It's a video game.
What do people do with video games?
Play them.
Where else do people play?
Playgrounds!
Ohhh, I got it, I got it. Lets make playground equipment look like the buttons and have them in the same color. And for the kicker, our tag line will say "let's play! in an ugly font with no independent kerning. It'll sound like playstation is asking the kids to play.
The only time an adult is going to say 'let's play' to the kid is if he wants to abduct the kid.
This Ad does not fall under the position of the brand. The target is more mature, this would be better for the Wii (but don't do it).
its more like a Wii Ad....
It's cool.

E x p l o r i n G . E v e r y t h i n G
Hmm... it doesn't invite me to play with PS3...
nice work : )
