i've seen the ones here. there were ones with a woman who's body parts were spring loaded. another with an orgy of people doing really odd things with each other's anatomy.

Nothing, just that PlayStation ads stopped being about the fun of playing a long time ago...
that doesn't change the fact that i don't think this looks like fun. but my original comment is.
i'm not a "gamer" so it's likely i will never "get" why these are supposed to be good.

Yeah, it's moved away from fun, adrenalin rush, into an altered states message which has F all to do with the gaming experience. It's gaming, not LSD

How do you tell when an agency is ripping another agency's idea/art direction or simply continuing a brand campaign? I like it, but in this case I'd lean towards the former.

This is a very nice PS2 ad. I like.
and yep i know there are PS3's now. Same brand. I also believe if another agency has the account, and there's a great campaign out there, they have a duty to make sure they build it. Not fragment it.
I actually think this is one of the best PS2 ads. Well done chaps.

As an avid gamer, I never really got any of the playstation ads that walked along this line.
They're just bizarre for the sake of being bizarre.
The setting is very nice but i don't get it. Is there a logical thought or it's just imagination?
I like the face,it was done very good in post.

I agree with you, but there is an image already existing that just looks the same, also made for psp,

i'm not sure there should be only one guy's face with various impressions OR various faces with various impressions. maybe showing more faces conveys better about characters options you can choose better. by the way, the print on his T-shirt and the tattoo are quite distracting. but the photo was great.

tuvieron un buen giro con la del soldado y el boxeador pero volvieron a lo mismo con esto... un buen anuncio para el play 2 al estilo tbwa paris... pero se quedó conceptualmente ahí... las agencia que llevan esta cuenta deberían de hacer algo con un nuevo enfoque libre de la influencia parisiana e inglesa.
