Not everyone drives on the right side of the road.
you wouldn't believe it but we here in South Africa drive on the left side of the road, therefore steering wheel on the right side of the car!!!!

'Something missing from a well-known picture' is too broad to call it a concept in my humble opinion, it's rather a technique to compact a story into one visual.
If you compare these 2 ads, products and the relation between products and 'visual elements' are completely different.
Like the Tom&missing Jerry concept better!
