wht he wants to show
tht the product makes the apple smooth or the samurai
the 2nd ad is much better thn this
The product makes the users soft?? count me out.. i don't like
This kind of ad doesn't really work anymore!
agree
Love it.
I know it's bit of a formulaic thinking and I don't know how effectively this will actually move the product off the shelf. But I think this is a very funny way to sell a fabric softner. We all exaggerate the benefit, don't we?
Personally, it speaks to me on a different level, too, because I used to play the sport and I know how rigid and uncomfortable those gear and uniforms can be, especially after heavy sweating.
I love the VERY subtle "feminine" posture, too.
Hmmm, I think that the concept would work better on tv, where you can see the change of attitude.
peeling an apple is feminine??
Oh, I'm sorry, you're in advertising. Lemme repeat it for you then.
I was talking about his "posture" (you know how to use a dictionary, right?), and not the "act" of peeling an apple itself (although, that's the punch line to the joke here.)
There's a subtlety to how he sits which suggests femininity. You probably never played the sport (Kendo), so you have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about. But that's okay. Just don't go around putting words into people's mouths, all right bitch? I mean biabitch. (SO confusing...)
