don't get it ...
Must be some Danish expression. Hello Danmark, please explain!
You may be right. If it isn't, it seems a bit derogatory to the brand. Peugeot running ads showing its cars as 'lazy hippos'?
Maybe because the damn things don't work... lol
totally don't get this. what's service 5+? and why animals?
and why big size and stupid eyes too?
maybe peugeot cars without a proper assistance seem old, lazy and heavy animals. i don't think there's another way to understand the idea. any suggestion?
it may be that your car turned into an obese animal because it was not serviced by 5+.... i guess.
www.pindaro.info
actually PEUGEOT cars turns into obese lazy things. all other carbrands in the campaign seem to be shiny and working without that glorious whatever service 5+
Don't get it and don't like the tipography, but the technique applied by de suit man it's suprb.
this ads are veryyyyyy wrong, showing good car, and a shit peugeot like lazy animals.... you're selling the service, but telling everyone that's the car is a crap.
don't get it ...
não quero isso
that's pretty funny. not that the idea works but it's so lame that you gotta laugh. i mean, look at those eyes!
Bring Your Peugeot Back - its under the hippo?
Peugot is active-strong lion but now it's only lazy animal. I guess.
Thanks, that clarified it for me.
The "blue lion" needs to be looked after by franchised mechanic, right?
People from regions where Peugeot cars are not sold will hard to understand this one.
Dont get the meaning of the ad, maybe wrong approach from a marketing point of view if its the peugeot turning into a lazy animal. However, the animals look fantastic!
Hi I'm danish the idea is.................................................................................................hmmm I don't get it
May that hippo was other branded car but not peugeot.
(other branded car was dump!"
wooow intelligent!

rebranding for Peugeot!!

In general, I love Scandinavian advertising, but this campaign is indeed a bit of a puzzle. I don't think that the hippo is lying on top of the car. Look at the "tired dog" image first; no signs of a car underneath. Probably the car turned into a giant out of shape animal because it hasn't been taken care of or because it's become too old. Service 5+ meaning service for cars older than 5 years?? Why would anyone's car look like that after just 5 years of use..
