Vicomte's picture 287 pencils

Love it, love it, love it. Why french agencies can´t do that for french autos??!!

A.G. Pennypacker's picture 615 pencils

I admit I'm totally unfamiliar with this car so perhaps this models' reputation for acceleration is already well established. But for these to work with the average consumer, the car needs to already have a reputation for get up and go. Otherwise I think these ads need some kind of copy line.

BrownSugar's picture 104 pencils

why stop there? why not a breakout box with the car shot and a promotional sale price. Plus add the website and a 1800 number to call for enquiries.

The point for this ad is the acceleration, and how mesmerising the car is. regardless if you've even heard of it before. you get it. at least most of us did.

Pass me that Glitter. I've got Turds to polish

yourdaddy's picture 26 pencils

best idea for quick reaction ever...congratulations

scarfinati's picture 728 pencils

thats how you SHOW the benefit

johnston's picture 148 pencils

Love it. Not familiar with the car, so it took me a second. But once I got it, I GOT it.

FlyingDogs's picture 972 pencils

crazydave's picture 114 pencils

i don't get this at all. Are you saying the car has stopped inside the living room? what the hell is going on??? one of the most confusing ads i've ever seen on here. bad.

crazydave's picture 114 pencils

okay i know what you're trying to get at. but it's so confusing. no one will ever get the fact that these animals are still looking at the car and the driver has managed to get right next to them without them noticing. it's such a far gap. sorry. i get ads and this one is confusing.

BrownSugar's picture 104 pencils

That is so Sad

Pass me that Glitter. I've got Turds to polish

Fabian Kirner's picture 254 pencils

Yes it is! Oh my god!

Jet Propulsion Lab's picture 10500 pencils

It reminds me of that funny Honda Fit tv spot from a little while ago with the line "Cat-like reflexes."
A simple "0-60" acceleration line and the consumers would appreciate and get this ad even quicker.

scarfinati's picture 728 pencils

“but it's so confusing. no one will ever get the fact that these animals are still looking at the car.”

Has nothing to do with them looking at the car. Whoever said that is wrong. Its all about “giddy-upidness” A balloon pops and the rabbit is off. 0-60 hops per second if you will

ivan's picture

Yes, that's how i understood it as well. If you ever seen a car rushing away, you know what this ad is about.

Fabian Kirner's picture 254 pencils

Cannes 2008!

yourdaddy's picture 26 pencils

NO ANIMAL IS LOOKING NOTHING...ITS ALL ABOUT REACTION! like from 0 to 100 in 7 seconds

CHAQUETERO 2.0's picture 25 pencils

I like the animals, animals are so cute!!!
go guys, nice ad!!!

Soy chaquetero y qué?

valhallenx's picture 82 pencils

chaquetero, get your black ass outahere!

yourdaddy's picture 26 pencils

got lots of sense if you understand the idea...its all about quick reaction like a scared cat, pidgeon or hare...come on...so simple...so good...so new....i LUUUUUUV IT

brilliant art and idea

Temple's picture 207 pencils

Who are you kidding? Since when is a Peugeot 207 famous for its acceleration? I can name a few reasons for a 207 being famous:
* Famous for breaking down with no obvious reason
* Famous for worst after sales service
But famous for its acceleration? Oh, Porsche are already shitting their pants. And what with everybody here understanding the ad, as if they all owned a FTL 207?

BrownSugar's picture 104 pencils

misterwiebe's picture 6 pencils

Unfortunately this idea has already been done years ago by Volkswagen as a TV commercial.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJC-HiMnp8E

amsterdam73's picture 374 pencils

not exactly the same. The VW commercial says 'eager', these ads say 'rapid reaction'.
BTW, I would have liked the ads to have some sort of line explaining that. I didn't understand right away (perhaps because I don't have the 207 RC in my head as a fast car that reacts instantly)

Fabian Kirner's picture 254 pencils

What the hell are you talking about. That´s a totally different idea!

Wordnerd's picture 5243 pencils

Say whaaat? that is redicolous and has nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with these ads

yourdaddy's picture 26 pencils

...theese GREAT ads!

me myself and irene's picture 1256 pencils

veeeeeeery good.
original, fresh, smart, tells you a story... a funny one!
kudos
