Yawn!
It's the first time that I see an old paint modified on the product benefit.
Boooooorinnnnng.
Zzzzzz, what they said. Where is the creativiy?
Lame. Done. Could be a copywriter from Dubai working in Australia. :D
NOOOOO!!! no mas mona lisa para anuncios de:
1. shampoo
2. dentistas
3. el resto....
Creatividad = 0
I know everyone hates the fact that everyone uses the Mona Lisa, but as an ad, its not for the ad critics (us) its the general populace, it needs to be got and appreciated quickly.
So for me, the obvious choice is the obvious chice, because its the most effective.
So I like this 9/10

Yes: Formula can be recycled.
No: The direction of restoring something from
old painting/scripture/artifact/leather have
been DONE TO DEATH, let this direction rest in peace,
please.
Creatively, I entirely agree with you,
In terms of effectiveness. We will have to agree to disagree.
Peace

Does it mean that if the direction is effective, then we should recycle it over & over &over & o v e r &o ve r &ov er & ov e r & o v er & ove r& over &over & o v e r &o ve r &ov er & ov e r & o v er & ove r& over &over & o v e r &o ve r &ov er & ov e r & o v er & ove r again till it get boring and irritating?
Not to mention consumers as getting smarter by days, good ads are circulating over the net, don't treat them like a fool and have some pride, think of something better, or at least differently.
Like I said, we will have to agree to disagree.
I am happy to leave it there, shut your cake hole and do the same, or go for a fag or have a wank or something, you made your point and I see it.

sorry, but this isn't creativ, and you can still be creative and appeal to the general public. This doesn't do it.
Buggers is right.
Who cares that the painting has been used -- its quick and right for the benefit. The same formula for writing films has been used since aristotle invented it over 2000 years ago, that doesnt mean each new film written is lame and boring because it uses that same formula.
same formula yes.
but if every film used the same actor?
like this ad, it would send us all to sleep.
i actually like this ad, guess Monalisa still can go for a lots of "treatment" tho. slimming program..eyebrow shaping..eyebag removal.. face-lifting...OH to be a modern women is so hard.

Monalisa is turning in her grave...
and pls, this is bad work!
its done 2 AFTER-LIFE!
~ old habits die hard, older ones never do ~
bad ad
no one can beat the dove cartoon character ones...yeehaw.
... its already been done...
OTRA VEZ LO MISMO???? COME ON AUSSIES YOU CAN DO IT BETTER, FOR SURE.
this is what makes grey grey.
oh my god, i couldnt say it better!
...and give her several nose jobs and cheek bone restructuring and some skin discoloration treatments and thinner lips and shapely jet-black permanent eyebrows and what do we have?
Jacko.
BIIIGGG let down, boys.
And the Aussie work was going so well.
Unless you bastards are just after pre-selective creative focus group feedback!!!
Expect higher standards from Ant Shannon.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Don't just blame it on Ant, there was someone else on the creative credit. I used to work with him and his standard has been high for many years. Remember the 'Garden Show bee' TVC a while back. Ivan knows.
See your point, Davosk.
And yes, I dug that Bee-suit tvc, hugely.
Something about animal suits!!! My brief will come.
But CD's have the final say on live or die.
And I'm just a tad surprised this one got up.

Too much sun causes mona lisa ads and brain damage...
old idea, but still working
i dont think it works that much, coz the mona liza is a strong and solid entity... therefore i dont think using it to validate an ad is correct, ive seen few ads done in india for similar products of hair care but they were using the indian gods and angels to promote the quality of the product..but no its not good or maybe became old a bit.

In my sens, you're debating a critical subject, wich is about "what is a good ad?" is it a awsome creative idea? or is it a selling ad? It is also a major problem when selecting winning ads, sometimes you've a Gold ad but it doesn't sell the product!
Everybody is creative, be yourself.
Well as a purists wh believes advertising is itself an art form, I hate recycled ideas/ads. As for that being offset by no consumer seeing this I can only make a comparisson to film. How many times have you seen the same movie over and over again (Tom hanks movies, action movies), yeah they do wel in the box office but the true filmamkers hate it. So you can make a choice to be a rich hack at 30, or you can do something new and be remebered for years.
Btw does Pantene Time Renewal make hair curly too while restoring it?
Duuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllllllll...
can anybody tell me where this ad is from? a magazine? what magazine? or on television? Please give me all the details because Im working on an art project with this picture. Greatly appeciated .
