Not really. Both are advertising the same feature hence the resemblance. I think the idea here is stronger, but the others are better executed.

Guest's picture

for me is the same,.. and i don`t think that a stronger idea only works for one execution!!!

Guest's picture

i think that is another concept and the target is diferent too dont be so critic... i know who you are ivan jaja

Guest's picture

Ok.
1. Don't tell me this is an other idea. --> SAME IDEA whatsoever.
2. Don't tell me this one is better.
--> Nikon Ad is more correct, cause it actually detects faces, and not a pink belly.
--> Execution of Nikon ad is by far the better of the two.
--> Compare packshot value : Nikon wins.

3. I'm not saying you stole the idea, it is possible to have the same idea on a similar brief. Just don't send it to a website that showed a better version of it from someone faster than you.

this is so feature-driven. Boring. Clients don't care about features. We want benefit (not to say "they". Look at yourself!)

Guest's picture

more importantly anything that takes a picture detects faces. trying showing what "intelligent face detector" really means.

krautland's picture 3180 pencils

I agree with the commenter above - same idea as nikon.
nikon executed it better.

u use xerox machine for creatives?

shanthu60001's picture 20 pencils

Simple idea, accepted... Preganant women comparing should be truely religious, it should not be compared if the product is not that true...

has adsoftheworld become a copy site? this is for joelapompe

i think both ad are the same ideas, but i think that nikon is betther then here.
it is because nikon can use the ideas apply to different situation.

Nanel's picture 283 pencils

it is not the same idea. both are great, but i find this one more clever

Guest's picture

Stupid. How can it detect a face where 'there is none'.

Sorry, I get it, she's pregnant but... you cannot (no matter how 'intelligent' your 'face detector' is) see something that is not there.

Seriously, how is this clever?

heckyeahheckno's picture 6 pencils

I don't believe it is that hard to understand. You say you get it and then you take the ad completely literally. I don't *love* the ad, but c'mon. No one is saying they can ACTUALLY see the baby's face. It is hyperbole.

Yeah! More pregnants in ADs!

Ivan, i got an idea, people are sick of seeing copied and lifted stuff, so whenever an ad like this i.e. which has an idea that has already been done by someone else, and more importantly which has already been put on adsoftheworld before by someone else, SHOULD carry a tag with the link of the other earlier posted ad. The tag will be like a copy alert. Instead of finding it out in the comments people can straightaway know which ad is lifted when they open it. Once you see someone;s comment with proof (either an adsoftheworld link or outside link or the name of the product and title of the ad, then you shoudl search for it and link it up with the new version) Otherwise people will always keep coplaining that adsoftheworld posts copied ads without regulating them.

You Are What You Expect

again you have made a mistake mr. didn't learn anything from it?.

Guest's picture

didnt learn anything from what, p.s. Ivan, pelase also allow chatting and private messaging for signed up members, that way i wont have to talk to strange commentors on a public thread

ivan's picture

The feature is there. If the person wants to be connected he can allow it. Thanks

Guest's picture

didnt learn anything from what? Do you mean to say i made soe slight typo errors in my comment above?? Is that what you're pointing out? p.s. Ivan, pelase also allow chatting and private messaging for signed up members, that way i wont have to talk to strange commentors on a public thread

ivan's picture

Yes, that's a good idea, but in practice it's a little hard to do. What constitutes the same idea? This is a grey area. In some cases its obvious. In other cases it's not so clear. Also, the community is better at finding similarities.

Guest's picture

i think both are ad same. but i like this one. as above guest commentator said "what a pink belly" so in actual in this ad they target forthcoming baby face, not a pink belly. i think this is a bit realistic concept more than nikon concept.

Guest's picture

intelligent!

controversial. enigmatic. i don't know what I'm looking at.
