Great idea. I really do think this is a super idea. And execution wise too, I think it is spot on. But I am not sure this will win any award. But I could be (and want to be proved) wrong.
My thoughts exactly. It's a fantastic idea--but will people get it? It's almost too clever by half. Creatives will drool over it, but the consumer may just shrug their shoulders. A packshot and a small tagline may be necessary.
If you were to remove the ad title 'sos', 95% of the people viewing the ad would just not get it... so in effect it has been made only keeping in mind the award jury.
Indeed... count me in with the 95% not getting it without a title. In fact I think also award judges should look at it like that... 'what if we didn't have an explaining title?' They should...

whoa. Massive. Simplicity brought to that point where you even do not know the brand. Why? Idea is great, but logo on this pills is so gentle…
amazing one, really liked it, but I guess they should add the logo

Depends on the media, and I'm going to sound like a client… but I agree with miko. Think it needs a packshot bottom right!
Overdosed with panadols. I only need one or two.

the sos thing been done to death, but this is quite nice.
very nice concept amd I agree with the packshot thing... but still working
need a packshot, yes.
and about people that just dont know morse code?
i got it just thanks to the title "Panadol: SOS".
don't know any morse codes. so I don't get it.
As Chough said. Depends on the media.
Yip I also agree with the above; very nice concept (for those who know morse codes) and needs to have a packshot. Very good otherwise.
mmmmm, i have my doubts...is intelligent, but is effective? people understand it?

I get the sos, but i dont know what panadol does. So i dont get the idea.
branding is really really weak. thank god for the titles. just for that, i'd bomb this one.
CLEVER
very very very good concept for award judges!
- Here I should have written something smarter -
SOS. So what? What are you selling? SOS dishwashing pads?
Why SOS? What's the emergency?
when you're in pain, panadol saves you.
like it.

brilliant i think..
im realli worried about the general consumer getting that morse code..
will this be too intellectual?

Ofcourse there is a copywriter... SOS is a word ;-)

But nevertheless the idea is great.
