There is no living person on earth that would click that this is Herbie without seeing the other two ads in the series. Interesting idea but think the line needs work.

the whole campaign is referring to cars that drive themselves.. this one is herbie the love bug.. the others are knight rider and transformers

Wow atb. I feel less harsh all of a sudden. ;)

This series is obscure and inside-joke in the flashy way most young designers love and pride themselves on. He's proven his ability to pull off something as clever as it is obscure, and I'd say let him revel in his moment and get this sort of thing out of his system before he goes to work in a land ruled by style guides and mediocre functionaries -- clients -- who are frustrated art directors.
