Truck driver with glasses. lol.

Corona Raymaker's picture

I think the other one is even more offensive^^

Vive La Aducation!

can't keep your hands off it for a second can you?

You say it like it's a bad thing.

no kitten, my tone is lost. love thyself as much as ye like!

I shall, till I'm 2stone, and the neighbours complain of the smell.

So if a truck driver gets these glasses his IQ goes high enough to be a prefessor. Did Einstied used to get his glasses from here...I definitely want one.

http://www.picturejockey.com

how is this offensive?
it's about being clever enough to make the best of one's looks and not to sell oneself short.
actually this is just demonstrating how easy we can be outsmarted by superficialities.
smart ad. i like it.

but why are u assuming truch drivers are stupid? this AD isnt even targeting truck drivers, it is telling doctors to, hey, stop looking like a truck driver :) and if truck drivers end up wearing glasses, why is that smart? is the road officer going to give them a slack because they LOOK like doctors?

Corona Raymaker's picture

Hehehehe, good point.

Vive La Aducation!

please read my previous post again, it seems you misunderstood something.
and i think you're taking this ad a little bit too literal.

Corona Raymaker's picture

I read your previous post several times and I think I'm getting what you want to point out.
And that's just the reason for me posting my agreement with the other guy.
:P

Vive La Aducation!

don't be childish quemaleur. i was replying to the "other guy"'s comment.

Corona Raymaker's picture

Sorry, I can't help being childish \^-^/

Vive La Aducation!

But what are they selling? THis particular glasses' store? Or glasses period?

Are they telling me that if I need glasses, I should buy them at this store? Or are they telling me that I should wear glasses regardless of whether I need them, just to change my image?

There's no real clear message here.

I agree with you 100%

No this is cack.

It is offensive to truckers everywhere and also, the 'glasses make you look clever trick doesn't work';

Van Damage tried it and he still looked stupid.

Corona Raymaker's picture

True.

Vive La Aducation!

truck drivers are stupid.
and so are most of you.
i like this ad.

oh dont get so thrilled u r not that "smart" professor either!

Random Chuck Norris fact:
Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer. Shame he never cries.

that doesn't exclude you from being polite. you can like the ad without name calling.

Random Chuck Norris Fact #2:

Ironically, Chuck Norris’ hidden talent is invisibility.

We'd all be happier if you lived up to that one.

"truck drivers are stupid.
and so are most of you." let me stop you there.

You know the real Chuck Norris will kill you for using his name in vain. He's like god that way.

Say your prayers, because there is a roundhouse kick with your name on it.

Truck drivers aren't necessarily stupid, infact, I hear Stephen Hawkins drives a HUGE truck.

there happen to be quite a few truck drivers
in MENSA. i wonder if they wear glasses !

i was just trying to make a point.

don't know anyone here, so I can't really say if you are stupid or not.

but you can't say truck drivers are famous for their inteligence.

What are they famous for?

You think because someone does a job that you find beneath you that they must be stupid?

You, my narrow minded friend. are a dick head.

May your tiny pecker bear no fruit, for that fruit would be rubbish. Amen

you are bringing shame to Chuck's name. HE is a kind, fair, generous and magical individual. YOU are proving yourself otherwise.
you didn't make a point, you aren't making one now, other than you have prejudices galore.

now actually, thinking about it, this whole campaign is misplaced, they are evil, they should be promoting wearing glasses for those who SHOULD by saying: there, it does not make u look any different, truck driver before, truck driver after... this campaign is not good, it tells poeple to wear FAKE frames to look more serious, intelligent, successful, "hard" which is absolutely not true, we know how kids give other kids with glasses a hard time, and we know that women try NOT to wear glasses because it makes them look ugly, so where did that all go? I think we made an assumption here the Ad never told, that professors ARE smarter!

I like ads that let us laugh at ourselves.
Not truck drivers.
Not easy blondes.
Ourselves.

"It's Mabo. It's land rights. It's the VIBE, your honour!"

Saludos

he is now a respected fashion art professor. WOWWWW!!

a really great ad, like it a lot,
It's just a little joke people,
don't take everything as serious as chemical weapons in Iraq ;D

I can't believe how people here take their time to scrutinize every single possible retarded interpretation for an ad, when most people will get what it's saying straight away and giggle. And in the end that's what makes this a fresh approach and a great campaign.
