Also done for Maglite I think.

We all have seen this ad published on the Internet before and its tv spot as well.

Since this idea has a better execution than the other, it's clear that this is the original one.

You can watch the tvc on this link bellow (it's really good!):

although I don't know which was first you're totally right - this one has one more dimension in it (heritage).
waaaaay better than the other one: stronger story, more captivating image, it engages imagination better, better humour.

superb stuff.

true but i think this is more charming. "since 1942" is sweet

I agree, this one is better

hardly a question of which one is better, frankly I find it disturbing that in a two days period two prints are show on ads of the words which are exactly the same

Done..

YEA!, FOR NUGGET!

COOL!

hay una idea parecida para un pulidor de autos pero con un helicopetero, esta me gusta mas, aunque no esta tan chevre.

this is previous than the ad of polish and published, the other is terrible. this is much much better
good art good idea simple great ad.

Great and previous to the other one, which sucks.
This one has a far better art and it's brilliantly executed.

it’s fuckin’ crazy. i love it! Very good idea. It's simple, with an incredible art direction and "since 1942" turns this ad in an impeccable work!
great job boys!!

Mc cain stop voting for your own ad. you're starting to look like an idiot.

This is picky but i wish the smoke were on the right side of the saucer trailing of to the right top corner. WOuld make for a better silhouette.

Ad is good: communicates benefit in a visually unexpected way.

Yes, it's so good. Made to Win!

Good Work Guys.

This is an amazing ad.
Simple, anyone can understand it, from us, creatives, to my mother who has nothing to do with this business.
Congratulations to the copywrietr and the art director.

I saw this one several days ago in other internet pages. But even if both were made in the same momento this one is much better in every sence. Congratulations.

Brilliant. Simply, a masterpiece. Well done fellows!

I just wonder how many Joe Schmoes in Argentina would get this piece of American pop culture reference. Because "Since 1942" line is what gives this ad life and a little depth, letting the viewer in on the joke "Oh, so THAT'S how it happened." Without those two words, it becomes just another over-the-top, ha-ha visual gag we see everywhere...

Super cool!

Life's a Trip. Enjoy the Ride!

whf?

Brilliant! Brrilliant! Brilliant!

i think the smoke is way too much in the visual and the idea is not new, since 1942?

haha

Hahaha
it's also an old-fashioned UFO since 1942

good!!!

Gold!!!!!!
