Northern Lights Climbing Center: Physics

The laws of physics say you can't climb straight up. But we haven't seen the physics cop around much lately.

No, but you're constantly harassed by the badvertising police.

-- 9 out of 10 dentists agree that most people will believe any statistic you throw at them.

And you're very clever, askon. Post some useful criticism please. The headline is headed in the right direction, but fairly clunky, wordy. It doesn't quite work. This is the only decent ad of the campaign, the others are trite expressions.

layout needs help.

That font its not working. looks like a childrens book font. needs to be more gritty to match the tone of the copy

and what are those three dots at the bottom. Get rid of that. Why is it on a green blend. Put it on the climbing wall and integrate the copy with the hand grips or something.

its not art directed. tahts the problem

Do they?

We're going to need more lube.

nope, they sure don't. friction and tension come to mind, a climber might want to keep those.

Doesn't the actual definition of climbing have something to do with going straight up?

Looks like someone fell in love with how clever they were being, and decided to let that one slide.

My problem with this line is that logically it's incorrect. Ever been on a ladder?

A climbing centre has potential for some really good lines. It'd be cool to see what else you could come up.

agree that the art direction could be a lot better.

This is one of those typical american ads you see in comm arts with long headlines Most are too wordy, as these are. There is some nice work on this guys website though.
