So done before in the UK in the 1980's for Lynx - Roar of Disapproval. The only thing original is are the unnecessary fullstops - which equate to bad art direction. No art director worth his salt would want those ugly grammatical tumors to go to press.
And I "so" hope you're not referring to the periods. Without a period, a headline is merely a title floating on the page without conviction, without making a STATEMENT, without "punctuation," literally AND figuratively. You can argue about the size of the period, but don't dismiss the period, unless of course, you care only about how the head looks as art, and you really don't care how the head is READ, or the power, or lack thereof, of the statement it's attempting to make. And regardless of what David Olgilvy said, periods do not stop readers, they make sentences statements.

what's so good about this? shouldn't this ad move you? where's the emotion? not great not bad. it's so so.
It's an ad that seeks to create awareness about the still ongoing use of animal fur as part of haute couture. If you're not affected emotionally, then the senseless killing of animals for their fur does not offend you.
BTW, nice and simple effective layout. Even the small thumbnail was strong.
