Student scam! Come on, Ivan.
Could you please stop talking to Ivan as though you know better and you own him. If you would like to create your own blog, you can get one for free and make it exactly how you want it. If it's good and you really know best, I'm sure a lot of people will be happy to look at it.

Ivan is running this site and became a household name in advertising by doing this. If you don't mind I prefer to address Ivan directly instead of saying "the makers of this site".
My point is to give students their own platform.
I do mind looking at scam or student work because having an idea is only half the job, getting it sold the other half. Anyone can have an idea but only few manage to get it out there.
If the advertising world is only about ideas then it becomes one big circlejerk and makes itself obsolete.
I don't mind student work or scam, as long as it's good creative. Of course good is subjective and where you put the bar is another matter altogether. I try to find stuff that is inspiring for you. Hope you find at least one per day.

Of course students can bring something to the industry. Advertising has changed so much recently along with attitudes on the receiving end ! Students are the next advertising generation with fresh ideas and innovation, through viral, ambient or guerilla advertising. I study a Creative Advertising BA course at London College of Communication in London and some of our briefs we have worked closely with agencies such as Mother, Fallon and Farm where all have taken ideas from us and inspiration from each other.
There is no need to discriminate who can create a good ad, this is narrow minded. There are still quite a few advertising agencies out there that stil continue to blow money away on dated advertising. Advertising these days is not about working with a budget but being just as effective without the budget (the idea and execution!) which is why students can be put in this bracket within the industry if not the most interesting one !

nice idea, but the execution is a little rough -- yellowish and out of focus. also, with the line where it is, it seems to label the difficult way as 'the easier way.' perhaps it could become a question ('the easier way?'). just a thought, but again nice idea.

Yes, they should, But then in a different section please. The site is called ADS OF THE WORLD so I expect to see work from agencies around the world. If I wan to see student work then it should be a separate section, like scam and unpublished ideas that go into the forum section.
You know, some student work is good enough to be on the front page. Some students are actually good enough to bring some creative ideas in here and, tell me if I'm getting carried away on the next bit, they might actually bring some fresh thinking and ideas to this industry. *GASP*.
For me, this is a place I can see good ideas on a daily basis. I don't care if they come from students or advertising companies, as long as they tickle my brain. There is some horrible stuff from actual companies, mind you. Don't dumb ads down because they are from students.
As for the work itself, the idea is nice. The copy could be worded better. Right now it implies that what you are seeing is the easier way though you should be implying the opposite.
Art wise, the hand doesn't match the rubberband/road at all. should be suited better.
All in all, good job.

I dont see why guys are going on about where students should place their ads. Ivan said this site is for the ads of the world maybe I missed the part were he specifies to say ads of the world from real agencies only coz to me these ads are here for inspiration for this world from this world agency, phony or student as long you have an ad of the world Ivan wants guys like us to see it and be inspired at least. Toro you have a nice idea why not work on it and see how it goes now guys are talking idiotic and all what has happened to art why politics coz of an ad thats other wise a good idea which needs help if at all you can spare constructive critism to the fella.
