Only a series of ads makes a campaign legit? Are you being serious? And you really think that agencies and of course clients brows the web or blogs to alter and copy material? Common, what a waste of time that would be. You would always be in danger that you would be "caught". Especially IF it's about scams. Why would someone take that risk? Even from the financial point (project management) the risk would be far to high. I think havin an opinion is okay, but creating a "plot" is another classic troll move, Sherlock. Sorry.

Interesting point there, mate. I like the ad so I got curious and had a little check up myself.

While there is a well known demand (Media coverage) about the use of Rhino Horn for pseudo medicine, there also is a growing market for traditional themed Carvings in China (tripled since 2006). Even traditional Dagger-Grips are also still made out of Rhino horn till date. The Issue is not as populistic like using the powder for „medicine“ that has no effect, but also is a growing problem as well.

Google “Rhino Carving Art” and you will get plenty of examples.

https://www.google.de/search?q=Rhino+Carving+Art&client=safari&rls=en&...

The result speaks for it self I guess.

I think it’s important to really check before questioning the credibility of charity organizations like WWF, NOAH etc before slamming them, mate. Just saying.

You are right. Although the vast majority of rhino horns is being used for the obscure medicine it is clear that also carvings are being produced.

True. But even though the visual focus is on the carvings, it also addresses the exploitation of these animals in general.
I think you could say we found a compromise and I really appreciate constructive dialogs. Not that common these days, mate.

I was too fast with my criticism, that's why I deleted the post after Your comment. Anyway I'm not the type of
guy who smashes the work of other creatives just for "fun" - like it happens a lot for example in the anonymous
comments on wuv.

actually i didn´t. but even if i did it wouldn´t affect the simple facts. would it?
i am surprised you do not agree...? what a great industry where fact-based criticism is stigmatised as trolling.

What gave you the Impression? You had two pencils and went for a bashing move right away. The classic troll move. And I do not agree with your opinion. But I won't get into that. But thanks anyway, Sherlock.

i think it is not about how many pencils i got here.. not that i knew.
i was browsing the stuff as this particular work popped up. beeing a clear scam ad from germany - not even a series or anything it is obviously created to enter some competitions. am i right?
this truly triggered my reaction. IF you redo stuff you should do it well. maybe choose a different sugee. or do wtf you need to do with it but put some thoghts in it too.
if this keeps them from entering this work: great. if it makes them think about actually do original good stuff: even better.
if they don´t feel to do anything so be it.
but by no means I should have to explain myself for pointing at this. they should.
regards.

Yeah, sure I did this and all other ads that are immediately linked to a "copy+paste" accusation. I would say at least 65% of AOTW. There is a clear pattern if you look at the accusers and how active they are on this platform. And that, my friend, is where you fit in. Sorry to say. But back to the subjects that matter...Tsh, yeah right! ;-)
