I don't think the connection is a stretch at all. You're out in the sun all day with nowhere to charge your phone. You pull the Nivea ad out and plug your phone into it. And you'll probably keep it for the whole time you're in Brazil, maybe long after. Maybe you'll use it in the future on other trips to the beach. So they've just gotten you to take a Nivea ad for sunblock with you every time to go to the beach.

Brilliant idea. But it must be expensive.

too random. big disconnect for me. charging your phone to keep you in the sun? nah.
you leave the sun for many many reasons. to charge your phone is just one of the many many insignificant reasons..if it all.

forced idea that was really well executed to seem not forced. nothing more.

Absolutely agree. Cool use of technology but not relevant to where its used. Phones aren't used much at the beach. I'd even say they aren't used at all with all of the sand and sweat, people usually wait until they are off the beach to use them or have them in a plastic bag.

Either way... amazing use of technology... if it actually works

Great idea but I don't think your phone's battery is related to the time you wanna spend in the sun. And I don't think is very healthy to stay in the sun all day. Great idea, not so good execution.

actually, it would be the opposite: great execution, not so good idea

Well done video/execution. Poor concept in my eyes though. I don't think that a ad to charge a phone would resonate that much to anybody on the beach. Who really cares.

get the idea n its good.....you use sunscreen when you are going out (obviously)...but as our phones are the most important thing for us today....
we leave the pleasure of being out in a sunny day when the ran out of battery we rush indoors just to charge em....& this product/ad is a solution for that, it gives you reason to spend more time outside....BUT its not gona make you go outside (for that you need your will...it can just help to keep that will up)

I like, but there's one strange point here. Nivea is telling people to live outdoors, enjoy the sun. This is the opposite of spending time on the phone, right? That's my point. It's confusing yet useful somehow.

When I first saw the title of the film I thought;
'Oh nice idea; give people something of value, while demonstrating the power of the sun. A unique way to remind people to protect their skin from the power of the sun'.

Unfortunately, the solar link to the product didn't end up being a strong as I had hoped.
