me gusto mucho, algo muy simple y muy bien pensado.

Rene Fractal's picture 1430 pencils

Cool. Just for the visual, I think the fingers didn't need to go that deep. Good ad, love the idea.

bknowlden's picture 3229 pencils

A little forced, who dips their fingers into a can like that? My guess is only the Art Director...

ValidityGroup's picture 8 pencils

Yes I agree Rene Fractal. I think probably 5mm less would of made all the difference.

Archie's picture 203 pencils

without the word "pause", the general public would never get this.

Pauflies's picture 213 pencils

I do agree. At first i saw a kind of Smiley... And i liked it!! Then when i saw the "pause"...

Jinkies's picture 30 pencils

I agree. I saw a power outlet, not a pause symbol. But hey, thats why these things are titled. Too bad they don't have title's in magazines for ads.

Maybe one day...

"Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought."

Rene Fractal's picture 1430 pencils

C'mon, a line of text would fix it.

whitespace's picture 2048 pencils

I thought it was some power plug.

Andal's picture 867 pencils

Yeah, me too.
I thought it was like a vitality cream that gave energy to your skin something like that. Wouldn't have had like it either.

Way to go.

thakiddd's picture 72 pencils

i was praying it had something to do with war paint.

thirty6chambers's picture 1468 pencils

I thought it was either a pig's nose or an electrical outlet.

carlo's picture 114 pencils

I agree with Petrov, wouldn't get it without the title.

_____

Because great designs need no further explanation.

michelangelo_of_ad's picture 398 pencils

nah.... <---This is my constructive criticism.

He [Michelangelo] himself claimed to speak to no one, to "have no friends, and don't want any."

"The creative person wants to be a know-it-all. He wants to know about all kinds of things: ancient history, nineteenth-century mathematics, current manufacturing techniques, flower arranging, and hog futures..."- Carl Ally, ad exec

manga's picture 111 pencils

like it..clean and simple

Fridgerator's picture 444 pencils

Would take a while to figure out its "pause" cause it looks like so many other things, without the headline.

The concept is only as good as the execution.

everartz's picture 3627 pencils

Tapper's picture 472 pencils

good idea, nicely executed, nice one

Strip. Strip. Strip.

unionjack's picture 57 pencils

AHHHHH Fuck... it's a nice idea.

kre8's picture 993 pencils

love the idea.
think it would have been stronger if there was a way of showing the pack without the usual bottom right hand corner shot.
could it have been shot in a way so it was all in one, a slight angle? i dont know... thats the only thing that weakens it for me though.

Spider's picture 182 pencils

It's a nice idea, the only thing that, at least for me, it's a little bit force it is the deepness on the cream. The rest it is just perfect.

FlyingDogs's picture 972 pencils

Sweet!

the killer's picture 1485 pencils

very well excecuted, but would be hard to get without the title.

your work is your identity.

Dzsoi's picture 3562 pencils

Title and not so deep. What a strong agreement. And yes, I like it - solid, conceptual, clear visual.

sold's picture 2341 pencils

pause what? age, wrinkles, cellulite, striations, all that together?

without a title and this deep thing on the can...
not so good ad.

adhopper's picture 26 pencils

I saw an outlet here

Sharp's picture 216 pencils

at first glance i thought it was a pigs nose.

jamespatrick101's picture 330 pencils

agree with most previous posters...an ad for ad folk. without the title, the general public would never get it.

| think small |

DaMon's picture 456 pencils

I thought it was a pig's snout. And isn't that Oil of Olay's positioning? Milos will kill me :)
Perhaps the ad would work better with the line "Pause"....

gnola's picture 35 pencils

Clint's picture 53 pencils

well i saw it embedded on another site with no title, caption or other help, and i got it instantly.

Mr. Head's picture 4 pencils

Is it a pig's nose?

Time for lust, time for lie.

mrtalented's picture 2181 pencils

couldn't agree more

misterpanda's picture 236 pencils

seems like pig nose.... just kiding
good idea!

the_capywriter's picture 2618 pencils

why need a title when you can read product info on the packshot. 'Anti wrinkle. Night cream.' is enough to get the idea. Nice one!

Guest's picture

the pause symbol has obviously been used before but the thing is it looks the same as the Kit Kat print ad.
