I don't know whether the rhinoceros and the porcupine have particular significances in Japanese culture. If they do, I guess this could work, depending on the animals' significances.

If they don't then I think this needs developing more. For example, say you're selling karate on the basis of self defence on the street at night. That truth - danger on the street at night - needs to be communicated. I guess the most obvious way to do that is by setting the scene on the street at night. You could maybe still use a porcupine.

But I think the direction of thinking is an improvement on the previous guns ad.
