chainsaws are so used in ads
they have to retire with mimes and some more staff that right now i don't remember.

Absolutely. And have you noticed how many ads have people in them? Or cars? I think we can all agree that these are over-used as well.

Except of course that a chainsaw is one of the most common power tools and completely appropriate in this ad.
