I like these. Great AD. Just don’t like the line.

Was it originally written in English or could something have been lost in translation? I agree - nice ad, bad line.

PaulyG_fill in the blank's picture 1152 pencils

yea, bad line, great visual.

"Are you lost in the shuffle?"

not sure, but I may have subconsciously ripped that off from a similar ad with the same message.

Spanky's picture 2774 pencils

english is singapore's national language. but they hire mostly foreigners. so it might not be the writer's first language.

The clever visual says it all, succinctly.
So, it doesn't need the quippy line.

Spanky's picture 2774 pencils

i don't think anyone's objecting to the line being straight. (i prefer straight lines with visual solutions.) it's more that it's awkwardly written.

Rog's picture 6110 pencils

I meant it doesn't need a line at all.

pretty.

Well done. Such a simple visual device. But like everyone else, the line hurts it. Is that an actual expression in Singapore? because I've never heard it before.

Stigset's picture 1461 pencils

OMG, most people would probably didn't see the 'full' picture! It's supposed to be a playing card, no???

Also, the LINES are there probably to 'help' the message stand out. Try imagine/reading the 2 phrases with out the line:
would you notice the message?

Other thing, NG is probably the last name of those "Vietnamese" (shorten from "Nguyen" =).
