It's very tough talking sense into an addict no matter what stage. I think the point is to get to him or those around him before it comes to this. It's a learned bahavior. You can unlearn it.
Perhaps so. Perhaps. Now, the question is, would the person listen? The thing about gambling is, after the first few tries, one's gambling to recover what one's lost. So if it's the person's life (and all such definitions of it) on stake...would the person stop?
Ah, screw it. I am sure some people will like this ad, and some might even think a little more about their choices.

I'm having a hard time seeing the relevance of the playing card execution. I feel the artwork was created to support the line, when it should be the other way around.
This is the weakest one of the whole campaign. In the other pieces the Line doesn't play a relevant role at all!...In this one it might be helpful. Over all this is a really good ad!
