you must be kidding... if it is placed inside then it would be delivered only to the driver.. this is for every driver passing infront of this car, for maximmum exposure of the message. otherwise the campaign would cost hell lot to print sunshades for every citizen in the city!!
I still dont think the campaign is communicating well!

It's "strategically" placed like this for pedestrians on the outside to see. It's not like this is on the inside of every car. Unless the agency can somehow manage to break into every car in South Africa...then sure, it would be great to have the message the other way facing the driver. I dont think thats gonna happen though.

No, this is good. Different from the others, but probably longer lived, and cheaper. Production cost on these things are cheap, then you give 'em away to people who'll use them, and you've got long lived free advertizing in a non traditional ad space where passersby will see it again and again.
