KFC should have thought about this years back. Well done Perceptgulf .

Flame grilled COCK

That is HYSTERICAL!!!(I mean your comment.)
I'm having a difficult time typing straight!
Laughing myself to tears...
Thanks guys!

I thought that headgear is more representative to cocks rather than chickens. Am I wrong?

Yep Ivan, you're right. Only cocks have it but then again... we've all got our little juvenile and twisted advertising minds!
Oh, great ad.

This one is gooodahhh!!!

Should be Nando's Cock innit?

hahahaha

Nice art-direction. Although something about the "head-gear" looks gross. Like a bunch of bloody insect eggs.

I really like this ad. I don't like to impose ideas completely onto another individual, and I like ads that leave space for some free thinking. Simple is always effective.

Ivan's right, this 'aint chicken, it's cock. Come get some.

Bhwahahahahahaha-hahahaha! You guys...kill me.

rooster sounds more decent, but after cooking, the dish is anyway reffered as a chicken dish.
similar concept was done with the comb with chillies, published in L's Archive. this looks good too.

Yeah, rooster would've been a more decent name.

ohhhhhhhh that's gooooodddddd

Common guys, it's just a visual pun.

already done!!!!!! (for OGALO in 2004)
just a pathetic copy :-(

hes right you know, i just looked it up. I wouldnt be too harsh and call it a pathetic copy though, it happens. Imagine how many creatives around the world thinking of the same brief.

http://adme.ru/paedia/print/21/15ix.html here it is

that's right justpassingby. i made the same point when one of my work was ridiculed, saying it's been done before.
i was asked to keep my self abreast. but that's quite not possible, there r thousands of agencies
around the world n several thousand creatives working for similar products n services.
u can't avoid duplication of ideas, or even execution. even sites like these miss some of them.
after all the concepts of branding r similar around the globe. let's not be harsh when something like this happens. for every creator, the intention is to create original, but coincidences do occur. still its original for him or her. if it's good, let's just praise n leave it to that.

Thanks. Somehow I was getting tired of people (including myself sometimes) wanting to be the first to find out who else did it. I myself will not pass judgement anymore on ads with the 'it's been done before' aura.

But we are still allowed to remain juvenile and burst into tears of laughter at things like a "flame grilled cock", right?

Yesh agreed. You are allowed to burst into tears of laughter.
I also agree with whitespace.
Ivan, can you PLEASE take off the " : " after Nandos and fix the name of the brand from Nandos to Nando's ? :D . So it will read.. you know what. :D.

aint that some crazy shit! i love this. and the killer art direction makes this paste-on-wall worthy, no doubt.

Looks like sun....

The ads are good, immediate, catchy, evocative, what else could you want for this kind of product? Plus it gives the stuff they're selling a quality edge. A shame their website and general media campaign perceive us (or do they?) as a cross between Borat, Speedy Gonzalez and the Yeti. It's always nice to be aknowledged as a sociological cliché dating back 50 years, but, hey, that's what you get for not keeping up... And if Cristiano Ronaldo is to stand for us all, God forbid. Go, rooster thing!
