product demonstration, and metal at cannes, but please. gimme some spice! i personally find it boring and oldfashioned.

Am i alone on this one?

Both got awarded? No wonder that everybody tries to beat the other one with the same concept. How far can they take this concept?

i like it. but that's a little sketchy if identical campaigns came out of the same city.

Funny, I did this exact same ad 2 years ago for a pitch for Schlage Locks. My execution actually annihilated this one in art direction. Unfortunately my work was held back and was never presented in the pitch.

Actually, there' more funny coincidence. On the shortlist there was a campaign which was EXACTLY the same and about the same. I don't personally believe that someone was stealing because sending it to the contest like this one is equal with anathema.

works much better here. the bike lock is forced.

I don't think so dear Spanky. Bike lock is more elegant and not so obvious. It's done that way that at first glance You do realize that's something wrong with this picture and suddenly when You get the idea it's classical smile in mind. The door campaign is much more in the face.

at first glance you don't realize the door is made out of bricks? better get your eyes checked.

haha. I was talking about bike-lock campaign (more subtle let's say) contradicting it to these two.
In other way i was sayin' that door campaign (nevermind which) is not so gentle and more at first glance.
When it comes to the comparison of these two door campiagns i prefer bangkok one. It's far way better executed.

    a) they're both bangkok.
    b) i don't think either one is particularly subtle.
    c) i don't think either one is that well executed. the photography could have been much better on both.

that said, it's a good idea. but considering they came from the same city, it's a little suspicious that one may have copied the other.

    a) Saying BOTH i meant door campaigns from Bangkok (seen above) and from poland (seen in link). I have feeling that You didn't seen this polish and that's what all misunderstanding comes from.
    b) i respect Your opinion. I heve different :)
    c) as above

i don't believe in copying and sending for contest for the whole world to discover that. This feeling of mine is strengthened by the fact that polish Saatchi send EXACTLY the same campaign for door-locks as bangkok agency. I personally do not believe that people are so naive to steal ideas and then immediately show this to the whole advertise world.

    Stay well
