Funny idea. But I don't think the execution has done complete justice to it.

Horrible cast, besides it was done slightly different but much better by Leo's: http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/vicks_casero_granny?size=_origina...
Know your stuff I say.

Did you know that people from costa rica look different than people from Netherlands?

I know the casting looks akward but its great for a local campaing. I think that advertising has overdone the "international" castings (redheads for South Africa, blonds for Peru) the only 3rd world country that seems to respect their visual identity in the castings is brazil.

I was referring to their acting skills. I also think you take 'visual identity' a tad too serious.

Is not something that makes me restless, but too often happens that a C3 from Lima needs feel identified with someone that looks like an A from Ireland in order to make sense of an ad, and no one seems to care.

The fact that you can emphatice with the subject in the ad i bealive that should be important. Otherway the viewer will feel that something its out of place.

Yeah, pretty similar, less "violent".

Nice idea, but it shows that Costa Rica doesn't have the resources to make a campaign like this look really good.

where are you from?

Grandmother and shaving the pussy...??? Hmmmm... could be misunderstood....

for me, the same concept "choose well where you will take information", on these case here: recipes.
on that link: news/information/reports and even recipes.
