put your hands up if youre sick bored of these picture comparison ads

Count me in

Sorry, people. These ain't comparison pictures. And they're brilliant.

And so what?

There is no comparison. But neither is there brilliance. It seems to be saying that MTV prefers style to substance - which is true, but hardly a selling point...

"Advertising is the rattling of a stick inside a swill bucket." George Orwell

Nananah! It says MTV make singers famous, part of popular culture, just it...

You are the one guy on here, who has got right, I guess.
(I didn't, at first and second and also third attempt)
Now I think it is a very relevant statement for mtv, but whatever, who is the target group now? upcoming artists?

Vive La Aducation!

these are great!!! u dont need to invent a world-changing gadget be popular (and from some of the choices, you dont need an IQ either)

cool campaign...

Isn´t this just a way to say: we only know music

Brilliant..luv it.

talks to u. says who the hell do u know better...hahahahaha

Lovely.

Brilliant, really really clever.

its not bad, but I think that Mtv its another thing... Its supose to talk about revolution, the mtv way that all the young people wants to follow- this campaign only tell me what I see, i mean, it doesn´ make any noice.

And, mtv it supose to ·rock·

i like this!

I do like this after a second look. It's saying that we all know who Britney is but we don't know who the heck Marie Curie is unless somebody tells us. That's actually kind of sad if you think about it.

Brilliant

great

Me gusta el sentido irónico de este trabajo

Hilarious. I'm with the brilliant crowd on this one.
I laughed out loud especially at the Britney one. What's better than an ad that can make you feel stupid and laugh at yourself?
If you ask me MTV is pretty shallow and superficial. And when I'm feeling shallow and superficial I watch it.
When I'm feeling deep I'll watch the history channel.

Sucked me right in. Well done.

you must all be regular MTV viewers, the reason you dont know them is because its a completly different generation, doesnt make sense doing this kind of comparison. But you all know who Bill Gates is right? think about it

not exactly.

most people have heard these names in gradeschool science class but we dont know what they look like. if we just hear these musicians today on the radio, we wont know who they are either if we see their photos. they could have done this using musicians from before mtv but i guess they wanted to reach a wider audience with historical figures.
