how did these children become orphans? their parents were killed by weapons of war. instead of showing a soldier pointing a gun to a parent's head, can you show it in a less literal way? what wounds do weapons cause on things other than humans? can those wounds somehow represent the mortal wound on a parent, for dramatic impact? tada.
