This one is nice (except by the case of the use of a lot photoshop).
This is the only good one of the bunch. It looks like a chili pepper. The doors one though! - my god, jim morrison would be turning in his grave.

Where's the twist?
the idea that the car itself is red hot (i.e. speed, handling, aesthetic) is the first thing i took from this. so the twist i guess is in the headline, where they're actually talking about rockstars - using the mini to illustrate the name.
i like it. i think it works.

this one is a bit better... it's the only one cute and smiple... but not enough to be a good ad..
i thought this one was better although the first thing that jumped to my mind is "mouse" but oh oh, diegtf posted a Mazda ad in 2005 witch is an EXACT, i repeat, EXACT copy of this one!
