What kind of perks does this partnership offer?

Its a sponsoring of a cultural institution. Publictiy.

I have to say, I'm slightly confused. I understand the whole, 5 line musical score thing... but are those lines part of the grill of a mercedes or something?

Sorry, might be a slow day for me today.

yup! as most E-class Mercedes will do.

Don't apologise for being slow, it's not your fault.

Nice.

works. but soo boring

It IS really boring. Also the 5 lines of music and the 5 lines of the grill don't work that well. I think if you are going to use the 50yr old 'something which looks like something else' visual ad construct, it needs to look more like both. This just looks like the car grill, then when you read the line you realise it looks slightly like the music lines, but not enough, so the pay off is annoying.

Why would you post something this average on AdsOfTheWorld?

And you didn't want to post MY merceds campaign…
pffffff!

Which one? Can you post in the forum pls?

Hey! You know what?
It was just me who forgot to send the mail…
I'll shoot myself…

STRIKE! I like this. The only thing I miss is a "G clef" or something that simply makes the five lines into a stave.

Well... I don't know... this doesn't make me fly high.
This Ad also makes me think. First because it would be strange to see a
german mercedes ad not made from "JvM"... and second the logo was changed
in October last year. so I think "Mercedes-Benz Hamburg, Germany" would know
better.

Sorry over done, opus magnum

Saying 'done' without saying where, has been done to death.

You have seen like that before? Can you send me a link?
