i would associate intelligence with the target of this ad. if you can buy a mercedes you are probably intelligent enough to know a thing or two about money. i think the ads are very nice.
I wish you guys at Jung put so much energy into your regular jobs. Being good at fake-extras is one thing but doing decent ads for the client's brief is another. I wish you were so creative when it comes to international campaigns other people have to adopt.

I really like this, however, I assume the car is like a 4X4, or maybe some kind of boat as it has to deal with the Niagara Falls. I guess if you don't know what the product is it's a bad ad.
I think it's something more than just looking similar. The VW is shrinking interior things showing a line, and Mercedes is shrinking exterior things by showing a line :-/ How far can those two concepts be? I think someone got inspired from the other, copied the idea and then recycled it.
