i know the idea may be the gum is very sticky so that ...., but where is the benifit to consumer.totally confused

i agree. first of all, this is about stickiness.
and they're showing their product in the least appealing condition: chewed up, spat out and stamped on by a dirty prehistoric monster (wouldn't care about this if the idea was outstanding, though)

they are talking about the gum´s size, not the stickiness

i know. but to me this pic expresses stickiness, not "big gum"

gum is always sticky?

hmm i think you got what i was trying to say.

dinosaurs were very big my friend.

veeeeeeeery big.

uh well... seems that i can't get across my point. never mind

Always have the client in the Ad - have him screaming his heart out in front of the beast. That will be a better Ad?....!

And how does the gum end up in prehistoric times? This makes as much sense as when they put a brand new music track in a movie about medevil times.

illustration will solve your views.

bubble gum was invented million years ago? what a premitive candy!

maybe a godzilla in tokyo or king kong in a modern city would have been better. I do like it though.

That's a lot of gum to chew, huh. I like the dino a lot, but the comp may improve.

I think this its funny and thats it.
I dont agree with the guys that has a tought like "And how does the gum end up in prehistoric times?
cuz i hope you can figured out that its just fantasy. no dino can stick by a gum, like a gum can be prehistoric.
Just fantasy... and a funny joke.
sorry 4 my english
PD. and just a gum

Yea, this ad is kinda simple. But it's advertising gum. There's not going to be any real consumer benefit. You chew it and throw it away; then a dino comes and dies because of it.

i'd say the benefit of the gum is the fun of chewing it?
maybe this is the next step though, showing what fun their gum can be AFTER it has been chewed.
like you said, it can kill a dinosaur. or at least bother grown ups.

hey, i'm really trying to like this ad! :)

As far as I get this ad, it's just about the gum being big ("Mega Big Babol"). Full stop. This is not extraordinary smart, it's just kind of funny.

nubloo's picture

"Let's get our name out there and tell those kids we're poppy, artificial, sticky and something their parents wouldn't agree to."

> The ad fits its purpose quite good. Kids like disgusting stuff and don't care about timeline discrepancies.

Draw a circle. Then, step out of it.

So sad, we can't buy it in Singapore! Something to chew about...

Big gum......

No no ad!

I beg to differ.
I find it cool.

Jeez, most of you guys over-analyze waaaaaay too much.
It's a funny ad, and a big chew.

This ad SUXS, no idea! But it deserved a Cannes Gold T-Rex.

back on the ground guys,
my 5 years old boy was laughing at that
and i´m sure he will ask for it in shop :)

yeah!!
im agree...that's very funny i think ^^
and the good adv is not only sell the product, but can give some entertainment for audience...so, that ad, is always remember...
good job!!

will it be better if the visual is changed to dino toy stepping on the gum in the kid's room? at least it's more relevant and insightful.

That's not better at all, it's almost as bad as your screen name. Almost.

and yours is good?

i don't like this execution at the first place anyway. but trying to rescue somebody else's idea and get a pointless comment in return. i'd better let it die.

next time try to focus your comments on the ads.

But it's more fun focusing on dumb people. (that's you)

i kind of like the exaggeration. it's funny, it's neat, it's simple not brilliant but deserves being here..

Bubble gum is for kids. Kids like dinosaurs. Kids might even see a bit of their parents in that T-Rex roar.

Either way, it made me smile. I like it.
