BWAHAHAHAAAAA!
clever ;) made me laugh

The weight of the cow would stop it from shaking on the tramp or am I missing the point here?

Olafski001's picture 991 pencils

come on man, it's just funny
who cares about the weight of the cow...

Guest's picture

The teddy bear in your picture has no limbs and therefore the bandages it wears are pointless. Am I missing the point here? I feel sorry for anyone who has to watch movies with you.

brandsurgeon's picture 693 pencils

Is my pic an ad? Your points are pointless, my dear.

brandsurgeon has a valid point. Mcdonalds should not bother with ads like this anyway, its a waste of money, as well as opportunity.

brandsurgeon's picture 693 pencils

I get the joke, man. I'm just stating my opinion.

so am i...
:-)

the trampoline doesn't communicate "shake" at all.

dlue's picture 130 pencils

who cares how heavy the cow is... if it seems a bit implausible then it makes it funnier... and if it makes you smile then its on brand

cheers,
dlue

This ad could easily have any other fast food vendor's logo replace the McD logo and it would still work.
Nothing about it says "McD" other than the logo.
Saccharine cuteness in a "we really have nothing else to say" kind of way.
Maybe that's all this is supposed to do, be the sugar (cow funny ha ha) that helps the medicine (logo) go down.

AXAY555's picture 347 pencils

but no fastfood vendor has done it so why bother... & try to imagine with any other brand it might not work.

Cool but funny

Guest's picture

Boo hoo the cow is too heeeeeeavy. OMG, it is soooo unrealistic.

Good & Funny.

shahidali's picture 1262 pencils

the concept is nice and orignial. plausable. however, this ad does not have any element that McD owns. Put any other fastfood brand's logo in this, and it becomes the ad of that brand.

i looked at the visual... said in my head, "what the hell??"... then read the line and laughed out loud. i might be going out on a limb here, but i think that's what consumers will do. and if they do, they just might remember the ad and the message. what i'd say is, good work for putting the golden arches on the idea before anybody else.

excellent, clever, funny.... ah BTW trampolines are the most common kids & teenagers (and others not so young) entertainment at Finnish houses during summertime, that´s why makes a lot of sense in Finland...

Guest's picture

It's funny, that's all!

Guest's picture

What about the shadows? The cow, the trampoline and the trees in the background have shadows made by three different suns. Great execution guys!

Guest's picture

willy wonka's joke

Guest's picture

Someone Said the Trampoline does not communicate the term "Shake".. .. I Guess you never jumped on one

Circle_L's picture 50 pencils

Circle_L's picture 50 pencils

some nite club can make a spoof... I'm sorry did I just say that? blah~

Guest's picture

this is just plan funny, and gets the idea across, don't get too literal!

Guest's picture

nice concept.... would be nice to see cow in an actual bounce... less static.

Emran Hayat's picture 771 pencils

Despite the fact that I don't like this brand and it's products very much I must admit that this ad is absolutely cool!
Cheers to DDB Helsinki!

cague de risa, buena!!

Guest's picture

Be careful- if you let the cow jump too long you'll get wipped cream insted of a milkshake.
And to ad flavour: feed the cow with strwberries or bananas- or just whatever you like....
