Hi, the read line has double meaning. In México we use the double meaning in words or phrases, in this case the word "Buena" mean in your language "Hot" "sexy". So the image and the phrase has sense.

It's not "your food will get prettier",...in spanish, when you say " se va a poner más buena" it means it will become BETTER

A poor line, who cares about how pretty your food is, surely its about how tasty/healthy it is. Also the strong man thing makes me think strong flavours not prettiness. Poopoo

We're going to need more lube.

I know Tricky was kidding around, but he wasn't far off where the copy on this ad should've gone. Although kind of lame, "Bring your food to life" would be a million times better than "Your food will get prettier."

i see this is a matter of opinion. i'd rather eat a pretty chicken than an undead one...

but i think we both agree the ad sucks the way it is. right?

i think the translation is just horrible.
'for a beautiful meal' would work better. still not a great idea

The real meaning would be "Your food will be better".
Like, more taste, not "oh, so cute, so beautiful, let's not eat - we'll just appreciate all this gorgeous meal".

Regardless to the exact meaning in Spanish, with that kind of visual I would have preferred something like "Apply before you fry" (if the food was raw) or something about food lotion or moisturizer in general. To me it looks like suntan lotion.

Buena doesn't mean prettier, it means tastier and also means that someone is attractive

the translation is horrible...!

in some spanish speaking countries, "esta buena" o "esta bueno" refers to when someone is hot, good looking but in "yummy kind of way. This ad works in spanish, not in english

I think it's funny..."Buena" can be better but in average Mexican slang when you say "Buena" you mean it's hot as in attractive...
