doesn't need a line

Rene Fractal's picture 1430 pencils

The idea is good, but the scene needs better direction. The lightning, angle, establishment of the scene... you know? More show.

apseudobeing's picture 535 pencils

totally.

i also think it doesn't need a line if it were better executed, but for this one i think you do, just to explain it what's going on. looks very rehearsed.

one can imagine the photographer shouting "ok. right arm down. further. more. down furthe..wait to much. back up an inch..."

I like it, I think it works in print, I looked at it and got it before I saw the product etc. But Yeah, I could imagine it working really well on tv.

Simple idea, and yes probably done before, but who cares!

Please See this Campaign - GNC2 (sleeping pills) from McCann-Erickson- Singapore.
idea is very similar.

and art direction is very very very poor.

interesting ad.

Great concept.....i wont blame the execution much...Indian advertising isn't much evolved. If the they had exposed a bit more, they cudn't have published it. And in India an ad won't go without a headline. but really love teh concept.

FadZ's picture 27 pencils

Condom on the bed? how about the kamasutra, some lubricant and a whip as well? for god's sake man...
not only the shoot looks staged and rehearsed as mentioned, the whole concept looks staged, specifically for the intended market.. i mean i would say this started by someone saying "let's show some skin"

priyanka_sabnis's picture 228 pencils

then why would couples buy it?

JAGGY's picture 1396 pencils

exactly. we won't buy it!

Great Idea...... positions the product very well.
But it takes out the fun part of the bed.
Who would like to leave the game unfinished?
Anyways,liked the appeal it has.
Surely put it on my blog!!

Concept is good, but to me it feels more like an Jeans Ad than an Ad for Pillow.
