Okay, not necessarily how I would've said it, but the point is valid. Anything with a primate might, right now, have this association so the agency might want to discuss this with their client (go ahead with using these particular animals in the campaign - chimps or not - or just use non-primates for now?).
I dont think that news story would be enough to make this ad not be made. Look at the amount of dog attacks a year, thats not enough to make people not want to buy pets.
