Les Affranchies: Prison

Sexually exploit a minor and you could end up being exploited too.

Sexual exploiters of minors think the worst that can happen to them is going in prison. But reality is much more harder than that. Once in prison, they are victims of violence and sexual exploitation.

One, it's a PSA, so fail right off the bat. Two, trying to make this even remotely funny with the man in the dress is making light of sexual assault. Third, fear of getting sexually assaulted in prison clearly isn't a great motivator for not assaulting minors, as people do it anyway. Last, I can guarantee you this was written by a man, because the idea of rape as revenge for rape isn't even rational. Stupid insight, lack of knowledge about the "product," and absolutely no research done makes this a pitiful grab for some kind of validation for a "product" where the emotion's already built in. Well-intentioned lazy garbage is still lazy garbage.

Hey jteslik, I think there's some confusion here. This ad is not about pedophilia, it's about the sexual exploitation of minors: Les Affranchies is an organization that aims to combat human trafficking, which often involves pimps luring underage women into prostitution. The man depicted in the print is not a sexual abuser, but a pimp and a sexual exploiter. Our aim was to create a strongly dissuasive ad which would serve to deter potential exploiters. Thanks for your comment.

Dear jrouxel, if you have to explain what is the message of you ad, then you missed the point. No matter what your aim was.
And, dear fellow AD, this photoshop disaster you call ad is an insult to all those people Les Affranchies fights for. You can't just drop into one's basement, take poorly lit photo and then photoshop random stuff into it. There are so many things wrong in this photo mash up, that I don't even know where to begin...

FYI, no elements were added afterwards so you are seeing "photoshop fails" where there is none... Go have a drink or something, I think you're pretty tense. I think the ad is great!

Yes, sure. And the lighting is completely unretouched, no shadows were added... yea... cute. It's also cute how you created an account here on AOTW only to defend your first ad. Sure you think it's great, you made it!
Pro tip: never reveal you are an alcoholic in your very first post.

What does "i really love you book" mean? Angry typing will get you nowhere. Learn to write, kid. Then maybe, I'll tell you more about advertising. Real advertising, not fake.
And thanks for liking our work, but that's a POS poster. That was actually printed. On paper. Not like your "I-want-an-award" fake festival "ad". Pathetic.
Bye!

Jteslik and Klicaj both nailed it. This is an enormous fail on every level. I don't see how this can be effective. Please give your client their money back.

Ease up, this ad isn't that bad. The message is pretty easy to get, "what goes around comes around" and in my opinion, looks decent. Not a Cannes winner, but a solid 6.

Come on people, how can you defend human rights by violating human rights? This ad has no sense, it's simply stupid. And not creative at all. Amnesty International should do something to abolish rubbish like this.

And if, as you say, what goes around comes around, you should spend the rest of your life seeing just bad commercials like the ones you do.

@emiliete Oh word? How about you send me a link to your portfolio and I'll get straight to work on, "spending the rest of my life seeing just bad commercials." Now shut- up and get back to art directing that 50 cent coupon for Big Macs.
