ok i like the artwork and i see their point:-)but something is missing.. don't know about this one
"there's nothing more difficult than a line"p.picasso
Has a selling point, makes it in a fun, clear way... well done guys
What the...
?????
Fail Harder.
my thoughts exactly. Perhaps one of the people above who liked this could explain it to us.
Straight forward enough to me. we see objects that are already protected with a little extra protection, simple. Plus we see the product in the corner (the tin) with the line: Legends condoms in a tin. Extra Protection. What’s not to get? It’s different to all the condom ads that we normally see, although this isn't about the condoms.
the "extra" protection isn't obvious enough. The knight is covered from head to toe in armour - it doesn't appear that his knee pads are "extra" protection, but rather are just a different colour. Same with the tank. If that's your explanation, the only one that makes sense is the turtle, because a turtle's head is in fact unprotected, hence having 'extra' protection. Sticking a piece of tin on the front of a tank ain't gonna do shit.
The reason why your brain struggles to understand is that your brain lacks the important chemical which would allow you to see what is in front of you. This chemical is called ‘Common Sense’
“Have sex with the condom still in the tin!”
PaulyG_fill in the blank with a brain!
haha, good one buddy. Just because you can't counter-argue my point, don't get all snarky. Are you tellin me that a knight is walkin around covered head to toe in armour, except for his knees? Whew, thank god for the tin, eh? And the turtle with a helmet on? If you don't understand the importance of consistency in advertising, I can't help you.
You have to understand advertising before you can help anyone.
(the fish is hooked and fighting).
ha. that's fine. Don't even try to make any kind of valid argument. I wouldn't expect anything more.
A tank has protection. A tank with a bull bar has extra protection.
A tortoise has protection already. Tortoise with a helmet has more protection.
A knight is protected with armour. A knight in armour with kneepads is extra protected.
Condoms are protection. Condoms in a tin are extra protected from damage.
If you'd like to reply to the above as you did to this message on the tank execution. I think we both know its valid.
Yea, I should think we can argue our points without you slinging insults.
It's simple. I'll try and type slow. Tanks protect the people inside the tank, just like shells protect the turtle inside. You add something to the outer armour of the tank, you better add something to the shell of the turtle, not the head. That's the equivalent of adding armour to the people inside the tank.
I get the concept. I'm talking about why the turtle idea doesn't jive with the other two executions. This would never fly at my agency, and any good CD would poke holes through it.
Now, maybe you can act civil to people in here. You're like the little boy in the playground who makes fun of the little girl he has a crush on. I think it's kind of sad that you have to wage war in an internet blog just so that people will talk to you. Get a life. I won't be continuing this child's play. I wouldn't waste my time. Prick.
It takes two to tango, and you're dancing the war dance as much as anyone.
your point is noted as well as your frustration.
well of course I'm frustrated when someone decides to be a dick for no reason at all.
how apt.. publicis mojo doing a condom ad.
but i dont think this is anything good
hmm... I just donno how putting a condom inside a tin makes it extra protective.
it's like saying Volvo is now even more safer when it's parked in your garage.
I need the safety on the road not when it's sitting in my bullet proof garage and for a condom not when it's inside a tin pack but when it is in....... :-\
I think the tin packaging certainly does provide extra protection. A lot of ppl carry dingers around in their wallets, which can weaken the rubber. This is especially true if you're like PaulyG and leave your condom in your wallet for extended periods.
i think it's just funny how you guys insist on insulting people in here for no good reason. get a life
It's always a surprise how people take things to a personal level and blow them out of proportion (im referring to the above playgroun quarrel.) Just because some of us may disagree or "don't get" some concepts doesn't mean there is something wrong with our brain.. Why don't we all relax a bit. It's just ads we're talking about. Not how to save the world....So let's try to keep things into their right perspective. And by the way, i still think there's something missing :-))))))
"there's nothing more difficult than a line"p.picasso
this is absolutely clear. i don't now how this isn't to get.
and yes RAZ21, i agree with you. calm down boys
hahaha ad figths are so none sense guys take it easy if you feel better i dont get it either and its all cool
by the way the armor looks so freaking photosop is not nice.
Why the knee pads?
The extra protection is... what?
The tin, itself?
Armour = Tin + Sword = Knob = Wa-haay.
