you can interpret this a million ways if you're not going to use logic. it says IF you get hurt really bad at least you'll still save your head (which is really important). I'm sure it's obvious to anyone with common sense that a helmet will not protect areas that which it doesn't cover.
nice idea, and ad mad, it make sense to wear a helmet, cause it will save your head, it's not supposed to save your body.
