This would have been more interesting if the titles had made a new funny title together.
Lolita?? jaja.. but idea?? concept?
I assume you know these two books mentioned?
He probably has no idea that they are even books.
I think they would have had a better result if the two titles combined gave a duel meaning or said something funny.
oh now you've done it, don't piss off ivan!
luis you need to please try harder, you always sound clueless.
Nice copy and neat idea but the layout looks like you were fighting with hierarchy, my condolences to the "Visualizer.".
First one is the only one that really works copywise. Sign-off copy is terribly cheap. Something tells me these aren't real ads.
It's an online bookshop in India. Severely doubt Penguin knows they're being dragged into this mess.
can i marry you? hahahaha
Interesting idea. But it would have been sweet if they had used two book titles that actually combined together to form a new tittle. Instead of just stringing to random ones together. It's basically a rip-off of the movie-title-mashup game they play on the TV show, "Cougar Town."
For example:
Dark Knight + Night of the Living Dead = Dark Night of the Living Dead.
Superman + Man on Fire = Super Man on Fire
Fight Club + Club Dread = Fight Club Dread.
And so on...
They could have done something like "Moby Dick and Jane," or "Me Speak Pretty One Day in the Life..." or "A Knight's Tale of Two Cities." They NEED two titles that share a common word! Not just random titles strung together!

Walk into any of the stores and the Penguin offer is still on. It's "buy two get one free" now. The "buy 1 get 1 free" offer was for a limited period. Too bad you missed it.
Half the required impact. No Man is an Island of Doctor Moreau would love to get his hands on these. ©
