Similar markets (gourmet foodies = wealthier individuals = explorers) means this ad might hit home with the right people. Will it sell more Land Rovers? Doubtful. But great for strengthening the brand. I think it's a win for Land Rover if their goal is to stay relevant with the right market or even reposition their brand if they feel it's gone astray.
