Land Rover: when it comes to advertising, learn from Volkswagen. I get the idea here; just don't find it particularly funny.
Ah, here you are again. The ad is funny, not hilarious. Agree on Volkswagen, they're #1 when it comes to advertising.
The use of gorillas or monkeys as funny "objects" in advertising is old and trite. I also think that most of these recent Land Rover images (ads) are a trifle silly. I would assume that Land Rover's target audience is mostly men, aged 35 and above, who make at least $100K. Would they appreciate this type of "humorous" advertising? I'm not so sure. Reminds me of Peugeot's Service 5+ campaign, equally silly.

As you can see I commented on that one too. I didn't get it either.

a monkey driving the car, from another Ad :))
I find the ad amusing and pretty, but that's about it
Portfolio * Myspace * Facebook
i can't even spell my name without 'ad'
good imaginary content, could fix a lot of history behind this, superb for movie story with this being the final + packshot.

Nice idea...but a bad execution. The monkey's picture is dramatic, the hand's is not. And there is a light on the right part of the bananas I think it's not possible to be there.
In my opinion, it's easy to see it's fake.
Great concept, but the key camouflages whit the skin of the gorila. Maybe thats the only "but" haha
i like it
Go beyond a banana peel...

Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working
No need for the keys.
without the keys it's totally a different story... Here the driver is not enjoying himself feeding the prince kong. He is just trying to get his keys back.
No x 1000. the kong's pic is totally different from the banana's...and I didnt even see a key until I read comments. bad ad.
So, are you saying you prefer it with the keys - or without?
basic idea. sorry
I've seen this one before. I just can't remember where.
Let me guess...
The ape was tired of playing his drums and decided to steal a car instead...
yes, remind me of a pepsi ad too... but the art direction is far better on the pepsi one.
Yes, it looks like PEPSI!
good!!! it shows that the Landrover can go easily in the jungle and the gorilla can take the keys equally easily...i wish the Keys were made more prominent, something like bananas.......
I need a Pepsi
