this one is not as good as another one. the 'after' effect after tested huge meal is not as strong.

EXACTLY! Don't be blinded by the photography and art direction. Take that away and this idea is an obvious five minute first thought. The CD should be fired for approving both of these ads. Besides, since when does a lot of food equal good food?

Darren, the brief was obviously to advertise quantity, not quality. A lot of the time, people just want a big feed rather than something small and fancy.

And the fact that it's a first up idea doesn't make it bad. Yeh, a lot of people may have come up with this idea, but did they get the brief? No. Well done to whomever created this. You average Joe would see it and appreciate it.

Ah the one off idea campaign... I have so many of these in my bottom drawer. Definition: The one off execution you so desperately want to turn into a campaign to give it some credibility for the awards but you can't quite make the second and third executions stick.

This one is nowhere near as good as the first one.

Nothing really engages the brain here at all and its a tenuous link with a 'so what"? result.

agree.
but to be fair: i think the first one is just too good to make another two ads that are on a par with it.

I guess so, it can be difficult to do a campaign when one ad is really good, how do you top it?
