I like the concept a lot, but the line is truly awful. Over exaggerates the message inappropriately and doesn't call-to-action the product.
7/10 for concept

I can't believe this comments...... the goal is to be disgusting. And it's an effective ad in this way. Not brilliant but effective. But I don't like the line also. It should be more sutil.

This ad has an strong visual, and cast quite an impression. Thats explain why so many comments. This is a very good example of a weak copy writting that pull down the ads.
The fact that it has this many comments, does not make it good. I think this ad is wrong in more ways that the copywriting.
I wouldve used actual germs instead of maggots the imagery is too heavy...But other wise it caught my attention to actually looks at what the product name was....

the agency said: let's shock the hell out of everyone! so, first we do the maggots, but wait that's not shocking enough! let's put a man who is clearly on the brink of death, so that the message is clear: if you don't use our detergent, you are in essence going to be a murderer!
