Bad timing I like to think. Who in in his sane judgement would copy an award winning ad?
it's happened to all of us. you think of an idea, you start working on it - and then the you see someone else has done basically exactly the same thing. at that point, the only thing to do is say: "well, shit. we should have got it out faster" and then proceed to throw your work in the bin and work harder/faster next time.
these guys must've thought that theirs is different from stuffit. guys, its not. bite the bullet and throw it away.
